ACTIVE AERO

The forces of up to 6000 N on the rear wing meant we had to look outside the automotive industry for suitable hydraulic systems. As well as designing the hydraulics system and actuators, we manufactured the prototype and production parts using our own in-house specialist manufacturing operation, delivering them direct to the production line.

We were able to deliver the first fully functional production intent prototype in just eight months. We have since worked on further systems for other vehicle manufacturers.
