Prodrive first established its circuit-racing credentials at national level in the British Touring Car Championship in 1988 with BMW and then Alfa Romeo, Honda and Ford. Success across the world in many championships and at the highest levels has followed.
Global Success
Following success at home in the BTCC, Prodrive has taken on endurance sports car racing together with a stint in the pinnacle of motorsport, the FIA Formula 1™ World Championship, when Prodrive ran the BAR Honda F1 Team (2002-2005).
Over the years the company has achieved numerous wins with prestigious partner teams running marques such as Ferrari and Aston Martin, in global endurance series including the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, IMSA run sports car championships (USA), British GT, GT3/4 European and American series’, Iberian Supercar, ADAC GT Masters and more.
Aston Martin Racing
As a partnership between Aston Martin and Prodrive, we have run Aston Martin Racing since 2004, helping Aston Martin establish itself as one of the leading manufacturers in global sports car racing by winning numerous Le Mans and world sports car championship titles.
Today we are responsible for the design and manufacture of the Vantage GT3 and GT4 cars for independent teams, supporting many directly with trackside support in various national and regional series across the world.
Rally Programmes
Prodrive started rallying in 1984 and had gone on to famously win six WRC titles. Since 2020, we’ve been conquered the FIA World Rally Raid Championship’s tough terrains. After three sucessive podium finishes for the Prodrive Hunter in the Dakar Rally, we’re now the technical partner for the new Dacia Sandriders team for the 2025 W2RC season.
